What can I say about skimmer selection. Only this. It's easy. Figure out what the largest skimmer is that you can fit in the sump and read the reviews about it online. Ask others on your favorite reef forums what their experience has been with different types of skimmers. I opted to go for a Reef Octopus NWB 150 based upon the reviews that I read and some personal recommendations. So far it has been a great skimmer and I'm very pleased with my choice.
